 Crossfit is all about training your body for the unknown (not just the known). Combining strength training with plyometrics, speed training, various Olympic lifts, body weight exercises, kettlebell and sandbag routines. By training the body in this way CrossFit aims to work the whole body in a comprehensive fashion promoting improvements in cardiovascular-fitness, strength, endurance, stamina power, speed, agility and coordination. 
Exercises are normally explosive and for time. Most exercises will work the whole body with lifting, pulling, squating and pushing exercises forming the basis for most circuits.
For me, it is making me happy! A fun & challenging way to work out. It's this team atmosphere, where everyone pushes everyone and the last person to finish is just as important as the first.  They won't let you give up or quit. That family you end up building and the energy you get back from it yourself, that is CrossFit to me. 

I love the challenge! I compete with myself and can sometimes compete with my friends. I know people think we are crazy and we have all this "special" lingo, but to me - that's me! Regan & I do CrossFit together and that makes it even more special.  We push each other and always have something to talk about at dinner.

Next week Regan, Markus, Kellie & I are competing in the Garage Games One event in Georgia! We are all super excited. I have competed every year at this event. Up until last year, I had competed as an individual, but last year we competed as a team. Team event was awesome and we are really looking forward to beasting it this year! 


It's my outlet. It's my passion. It's my commitment.
