Running with the Stoix


On New Years Eve, Several of us signed up for an early morning run for the 3rd Annual Run with the Stoix!! 

Holly, the Greenville Lululemon running ambassador put on the event.  This was a fun, no stress event for all running levels. You could choose between 3, 6, or 9 mile loop. This run was a way to reflect back and celebrate 2012. 

This year, they added a Feats of Strength challenge! Once you finished your run, you did 99 burpees! This was right up my alley! I actually ended up talking Kellie, Markus, Regan & Jose into doing them! Steph also joined us, but she didn't participate in the burpees! I think she will grow to love them, as I do :)  (haha)

My time for 3 miles and 99 burpees was 41:40; which I was happy with. It was a challenging 3 mile run and I had just been sick for the past week or so.

We had a really awesome time and I am excited about this event NYE 2013!
