OAMC Whole30 & Paleo Cooking
Regan and I have been really trying to follow Paleo strict and also eat more along the lines of the Whole9 program. With work, CrossFit and other obligations, sometimes we dont get home until later in the evening and it is too late to start cooking then. I saw this post on the Whole9 website about once a month cooking!! I had never thought of that before, cooking for once a month. I generally on Sundays, will make a 1-2 meals for the week. Planning ahead and will set us up for Success. It will keep us staying on track with our lifestyle and way of eating.
I thought I would try this once a month cooking idea. I got my grocery list together and headed the store. We didn't have to buy a lot, because we currently had a lot of the meat in our deep freezer. It took about 4-5 hours for me to make all of the meals, but that is way worth it to not have to spend 1 hour or so in the kitchen every night. The meal plan she provides on her blog is awesome! She gives you step by step of what & when to prep everything. So you aren't cooking each meal by meal... You are taking advantage of everything you have at once. Example... While browing your ground turkey for recipe #1, you will be cooking spaghetti squash in the microwave for meal #4, etc etc! I found this process to be very helpful & worth it.
I can't wait to try some of the meals I have made!!

What are some of the ways you plan
ahead to guarantee success??
