my dad

Growing up, my dad was my biggest fan. He always instilled in me that with hard work, I can achieve anything. Hard work will earn me my “spot” in what I wanted or who I wanted to be.

My dad passed away; the day after my birthday, 16 years ago, from cancer. The last thing he told me was “I love you”. A few years ago, I found a card he gave me when I was 16 that said the same message he always told me... and was able to take his writing to be one of my favorites tats.

Thank you @b.knox.photography for capturing this and filling my eyes full of tears.... as this is both a reminder of the love my dad had for me, but also the hard work I have put in the last 7 months to get me where I currently am and will continue to put in to reach my goals.
