Building muscle not only allows you to achieve a lean body, it also allows you to maintain that lean body without starving yourself. Without becoming a slave to the gym and a food scale. Without developing a fear of food.
Building muscle also allows you to feel a confidence you probably haven’t felt before.
Want to feel like a badass? Go lift 200 pounds off the floor. Go put more weight than you even weigh on your back and squat it.
And while you start to shift your focus off of how little you can eat or how low you can get the scale to go and onto how much weight you can load onto a barbell, your confidence will rise and your body will change.
